Fancy That. ‘Star Trek: Prodigy’ Will Have 20 Episodes in Season 1.

By now, if you’re an obsessed Star Trek fan — you probably are just that if you’re on this website — Star Trek: Prodigy is on your radar, perhaps propelling you to watch the first two episodes (three, if you count the two-episode Pilot).
The conventional theory suggested Season One would entail about 10 episodes, a reasonable maiden voyage for a new series, especially one designed for kids and young adults.
Nope.
And that’s a good thing. Prodigy will actually offer 20 episodes out of the gate in Season One — with an additional second season already confirmed.

The show is receiving decent reviews, commended for its application to youngsters for arguably the first time in the franchise’s history.
