Star Trek: Discovery Pulled from Netflix Abroad. People Are Pissed.

Star Trek-loving folks outside of the United States received a raw deal this week.
Paramount+ announced just a couple of days before the fourth season of Discovery debuted that most international audiences would have to wait until 2022 to partake.
The first episode of Discovery Season Four premiered in the United States on Wednesday, but much of the world has to wait. And for those who are catching up on seasons one through three, well, that’s an adventure for 2022, too.
The move by Netflix and Paramount felt extremely corporate, so naturally, Trek fans were unenthused.
Even this ordinarily positive account weighed in with frustration.

The fourth season of Discovery still has plenty of time to recover as many episodes have yet to hit Paramount. But between the underwhelming review of episode one and the bungled international rollout, things are not off to a good start.
